A car dealer told me of one day when he had a new Cadillac parked just outside the showroom, in a heavy storm. He figured he could reach out, unlock the car door, then jump in and drive it round to the workshop. He reaches out with the key.....and a hailstone broke his wrist. "Fuck the car!"

Someone please explain to me why these people are seemingly anxiously driving towards an enormous tornado; and why they’re out on the road driving around with such bad weather conditions coming in the first place. Neither of these vehicles appears to be outfitted to be weather researchers or storm chasers. Almost every tornado video is full of a bunch of vehicles driving around.

Mobile home or manufactured home and not secure to a foundation. I can’t believe they can insure those things. I have noticed in my travels that ONLY Canada and the US have mobile homes. We are cheap, I guess. No mobile homes in Europe or, get this, Mexico. Same with three tab as-halt shingles. Only a North America thing? And the suck. What the hell is wrong with us…it is a house. It should be designed to last hundreds of years!
